Tips on rendering
Cement is the most important element of rendering, as it is known to add strength to the render. Adding a lot of water to this mix of render will ensure that it has become stiff also at the same time adding too much water will only make the mix weak and will not have strength retain. Lime is used in a particular ratio to the render, as it would depend on the construction type.
Lately, Portland cement has been used in the market because of its hydraulic nature and that in return forms a new chemical compound gathered from the ingredients that are originally used. The effective utilisation of cement in a render will help produce mortar and concrete that not only bind the structure well but also adds durability and foundation to the wall. A colouring agent in the form of an oxide can add colour in the render though the content of cement must be higher comparatively.
Plastering helps in
Plastering was used for different purposes by the builders, as the point of consideration was the type of construction that they were to undertake. They would use hard plaster that came in use for providing dry lining to the house, and the finishing effect could be seen as the end result. Though the only trouble remained that it would take a long time to dry off. This mixture of render and plaster can be applied on any surface to smoothen out any flaws in the surface of the wall. The ways and means of applying a mixture of render would vary from surface to surface and also on the desire finishing that is expected.
